ProOil-308.4 15,800 BPD CATALYTIC CRACKING UNIT (FCC)
The 15,800 bpd Catalytic Cracking Unit was originally constructed in 1983 by Shell/KBR, significantly revamped in 2010 and shut down in spring 2011.
Revamp (briefly):
Side-by-side reactor/regenerator with Shell tertiary separator and power recovery turbine; revamp in summer 2010 to install latest feed injection nozzle technology, short contact riser+termination device and high efficiency stripper, allowing increased resid-cracking and improved yields.
